Todd W. Newkirk

With years of health care law experience, Mr. Newkirk's background and expertise is in health care law and related litigation matters. He is the founder of Newkirk Health Law, which brings experience, knowledge and practical advice to a wide range of healthcare professionals and entities such as physicians, dentists, nurses, pharmacists, nursing homes, group practices, medical staffs, home health agencies, surgery and imaging centers, and drug & alcohol treatment facilities.

Prior to founding Newkirk Health Law, Mr. Newkirk was an Assistant Attorney General with the State of Ohio, where he represented a number of state licensing boards. In that position he pursued disciplinary cases against health care professionals. This experience provided deep insights into the administrative hearing process, the conduct of investigations, and the internal workings of an administrative law prosecutor. Mr. Newkirk left the public sector in 2007 to represent healthcare professionals exclusively at a respected law firm in Columbus, Ohio. At that firm, Todd represented a multitude of health care professionals in various states, in an array of legal matters. He is equally knowledgeable about contract law, corporate and employment law, and all of the specific laws and compliance regulations that relate to healthcare entities. Mr. Newkirk has developed a reputation for providing exceptional legal services and ethical counsel.

Mr. Newkirk graduated from The Ohio State University (B.A., magna cum laude) and The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law (Juris Doctorate).
